The editorial

i read this one in high school, and what I recall about it is it being the first time I felt like I was genuinely seeing through the perspective of someone with a culture so entirely different from mind. i credit my teacher with requiring this one my junior year. to this day so impressed with how it ties interpersonal / childhood trauma with the social trauma of the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan in the 2000s
